Summer time is a great season to show off some of your favourite colourful items, as well as being able to take a few risks.
The hot weather usually reduces the critics claws, and allows a bit more diversity than usually seen in the colder, winter months.
While many people will focus on what to buy in the next few weeks to ensure they are the top of the ‘cool’ and ’in’ lists over the hot period, there are many items which the public should steer well away from.
People must remember that a lot can change over a year and just because something was hot last year does not necessarily mean it will again this time around.
Here s a list of clothing apparel to stay away from this summer:
Blue Singlets – often referred to as the ‘wife beater’ it did not generate the name for no reason. Draws an association with bogans and drunks and certainly no way to impress the opposite sex this summer.
Long shorts – Or ¾ pants, whichever one you want to use, they are clearly out of style now. Who knows, they could make a come back next year, but for now, it is shorts above the knee which will attract others.
Tight black pants – it summer isn’t the right time to ditch pants, then what is? Especially when they are black, and tight!
Dreadlocks – Finally they appear to be moving out of fashion, but ever so slowly. Unless you’re at the beach, don’t do this to your hair.
Now, I’m not nuts about those shoes myself. But I’d defend to the death your right to wear them!
