Despite all the rumours, Gossip Girl star, Blake Lively will not become the next star of Posh Spice’s new fashion range.

The busty actress was whipsered to have been the new face of Victoria Beckham’s new spring 2010 collection of dresses earlier this week.

It was believed that after the pair me at a New York fashion festival last year, they hit it off so well and realized they both shared a strong passion, with similar interests in the fashion industry.

Since the meeting, the two have been known to help each other out, with Blake being spotted on the red carpet in a number of Posh’s gowns, while the former Spice Girl has been rumoured to be making a cameo in the popular teen show.

However, despite the gossip talk, the rumours were dispelled today after a Beckham spokesperson spoke out publicly.

“I don’t know where this one has come from (the rumours) other than from Blake being a fan of the Victoria Beckham collection,” the spokeswoman said.

“She is not Victoria’s ‘muse’ and there is no ‘face of’ the advertising campaign.”

Many other celebrities have already been rumoured to be the new face of the collection, including Elle Macpherson, Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Lopez and Lively’s Gossip Girl co-star Leighton Meester, who have all been seen in the new range of dresses.
