Although in the midst of an economic crisis, fashion is still a top priority.

The financial crisis has not dampened the want or need for luxury fashion, with designer labels as prominent as ever.

Many have chosen to spend their money on fashionable items and self-pamper because they can and choose to. Fashion has been made a choice, and most have chosen.

Fashionistas have stood by their designer clothes, shoes and handbags and made the choice to continue their style throughout economic hardship.

Department stores continue to obtain shipments and Australian designers Sass & Bide and Jayson Brunsdon have even opened boutiques in Sydney’s Bondi Junction. It seems fashion is still alive in Sydney, with famous labels Chanel and Louis Vuitton to follow.

Fashion experts believe fashion followers are choosing one long-lasting investment garment worn with accessories to last all seasons.

Even Myer’s luxury designer collection will be expanding to include the likes of Vera Wang, Donna Karan and Narciso Rodriguez.

It seems that fashion is still going strong, and high end fashion style is surviving in the financial crisis.
