Manning Cartell - bemberg jacket

Celebrities are always harking on about how they borrow designer clothes, that they don’t actually own these things. It doesn’t stop me being envious though!

However a genius new website called www.dressedup.com.au is going to put a stop to my green streak by enabling anyone to “borrow” designer labels. I say borrow…you have to pay a reasonable price (dependent on what the item is but say about $80-$120 for a dress and about $50 for a top), which lets you keep the item for a week, return it for free and they also take care of the cleaning afterwards (although it needs to be in good condition).

This site is perfect for a special occasion, whether it be a party or wedding, and you don’t want to fork out for something new, but you still want something special and new to wear. You can shop for designer labels and not feel the economic pinch.

The latest catwalk collections are from Wayne Cooper, Nicola Finetti, Camilla, White Suede, Illionaire, Manning Cartell, White Suede and LifewithBird.

If the site hasn’t got what you’re looking for you can even email them and they’ll try and source something for you.

Happy borrowing!
