When it comes to stylish women, Australian actress Cate Blanchett is high on the list. The Oscar winner has added another award to her career, winning the InStyle award for women of style.

This is the second year Blanchett has taken the title, saying she was thrilled to represent Australian Style.

Blanchett was one of ten women honoured at the InStyle Women of Style awards in Sydney.

Saying she was ‘chuffed’ to receive the award in her video message, Blanchett was happy she beat tough competition such as choreographer Meryl Tankard and writer Tara June Winch, those renowned for great style.

The Instyle awards take place yearly and are aimed at recognising stylish Australian women and their achievements in society. These awards also aim to bring a sense of understanding and inspiration to women who balance it all.

Blanchett works hard with her tight-knit schedules, commitments, and balances her family, friends and health; and does it all with a sense of style.
