They haven’t even finished filming it yet and already it’s causing a frenzy in the fashion media and stopping the streets of one of the busiest cities in the world – New York. Sex in the City is back!

Fashionistas have been scowering the photos of the cast of Sex in the City for hints on what will be hot next year. The first pictures of Sarah Jessica Parker shooting the Sex And The City sequel on the streets of New York with Mr Big (Chris Noth) have shown the usual glamorous wardrobe and sky high heels – just what we all love!

Legendary stylist Patricia Field has also returned (well it just wouldn’t be Sex in the City without her!) and she’s still got it. In the pictures that we’ve seen she has styled Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) in a fresh white Halston Heritage dress, accessorised with a gold Chanel box clutch and sparkly gold Christian Louboutin Pigalle pumps – the perfect springtime outfit?! Miss Bradshaw was also spotted pounding the Manhattan pavement with a giant pink bag, two-tone ankle-strap heels and a vintage-looking, simple purple tiered dress with gold accessories. There have also been images of what looks like a flashback to the 80s – Sarah Jessica Parker dons her trademark tight, frizzy curls, white jeans, Converses and belly skimming, shoulderless sweat-top. Maybe not an inspiring trend but knowing Sex in the City fans they’ll probably take it in full force, even if it’s only a flashback!
